Donations

Thanks to our friends of Adhiyamaan engineering college ,Sri Ramanujar engineering college  and Indira institute of engineering and technology  for their help towards fund raising for talent fest organized by a NGO i.e Bhumi....................
Full details as follows.................
Siragugal (meaning wings in Tamil) is Bhumi's annual inter-orphanage talent carnival to promote extracurricular activities among these children for their improved self-confidence and holistic development. As promised to our beneficiaries, the third edition of Siragugal is going to be bigger and better.



Siragugal 2011 will be a two day fĂȘte covering sports, science, art, literary and cultural activities. 
- July 9 (Sat) – 800 children will participate in sporting activities like relay, long jump, high jump, shot put, chess etc.
- July 10 (Sun) – 1,200 children will participate in events like dance, painting, elocution, essay writing etc, a Science exhibition and workshops on theatre, personality development and public speaking skills.
- At least 50 orphanages from Chennai, Kanchipuram and Thiruvallur will be participating
- This year also we are planning to route 10% of the funds received through sponsorship, donations and raffle sales to scholarships for children who excel in the events.

Devoting her life to the service of the poor and dispossessed Mother Teresa became a global icon for selfless service to others. Through her missionary of Charities organisation she personally cared for 1000s of sick and dying people in Calcutta. She was awarded the Nobel Peace prize in 1979
